About Rey of Sunshine, which was created by Bryce in honor of a lost friend:

“I met Rey in 2018, soon after she came out. Her absolute determination to be true to herself made others look inward and see themselves clearly. Even living in the middle of Pennsylvania, she was unapologetically Queer and refused to be looked down on. I didn’t know at the time, but she taught me a lot about what it means to be human and to love. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t thank her for the love and courage she gave me.
